Awakening under the snow in Champéry with a view over the “Dents du Midi” mountains, a landscape that is so majestic and enchanting, is a dream you will realise thanks to the homes of Katy and Jack. In the village of Champery, which is composed of old wood cabins, you can take a walk with family or friends in this enchanted world and enjoy the 650 km of marked trails in the Portes du Soleil region.
Comprising 50 rooms, the Champéry cottage is located in the heart of the Swiss Alps, in the Valais.
You will feel right at home in the wood-panelled lounges of this traditional cottage. After a beautiful day skiing, or after a long walk in the beautiful alpine mountains, relax with your family or friends around a fire.
In addition to enjoying the comfort of a cosy and warm magnificent chalet, you will have the pleasure of discovering all the wonderful things the mountain has to offer. Skiing sprees, snowshoe treks, or an initiation to new sports such as curling, skating or sledding. The Champéry cottage also invites you to relax in its wellness area (comprising a hammam, a sauna and a massage mattress), or in the indoor or outdoor hot pools of Val d’Illiez.
Your kids shall also be entitled to their small tailor-made programme, our enchanters will be present to offer them the best holiday possible. In addition to ski lessons, they can also participate in initiations to curling, go ice skating or swimming, and also enjoy the activities at the cottage such as major scavenger hunts or cooking workshops. In short, your kids will only have to ask to spend dream holidays!
Meals will also be an occasion for sharing and discovery. Our chef will be at your service and available to listen to your needs to help you discover the “made in Valais” flavours with fresh and local produce. “Les Marmottes”, your high-altitude restaurant, will also welcome you and allow you to take a pleasant break in your day spent skiing or snowshoeing, ensuring that you enjoy a delicious meal with a view of the Dents du Midi.
The Champéry cottage also invites your to make the most of this typical mountain setting to enjoy a raclette or fondue.
And of course, our enchanters will propose nightcare to your kids (from the age of 3), ensuring that you can finish your dinner uninterrupted!
The Champéry cottage comprises 50 rooms decorated in a way that will make you feel at home. The rooms are named after the tools used by mountaineers. Each room offers a superb view of the Dents du Midi or the charming village street!
Adjoining rooms will be allocated with priority given to families with kids under the age of 10!
Each bathroom has a bathtub and/or a shower with bathrobes and towels, a hair dryer, and quality hair and body lotions and soaps for you and your kids.
Your kids will be able to enjoy the pleasures of the mountain. They will be kept busy between skiing, sledding, and ice skating.
Your little one isn’t a fan of skiing and doesn’t really want to prepare his 1st star for the 3rd time? Our team of enchanters will be happy to brighten his day (and evening) at the cottage with table football, a board game, or a cooking workshop.
Winter is snow, the mountain and lovely landscapes. But it is also the pleasant period of raclettes, tartiflettes or fondues! Amine, your chef, is waiting to help you discover all the flavours of the mountain dishes! But you will also be surprised by the finesse and variety of his dishes, ranging from “the perfect egg and its truffle risotto” to the delicious vegetable soup that is so comforting after a beautiful day outdoors…
Amine received the “homemade” label in 2018 given his commitment, alongside his team, to prepare everything from A to Z from fresh and seasonal produce!
In order to enjoy a relaxed stay, your nannies will prepare all organisational aspects with you before your holiday begins … Questions about how to prepare your suitcase? Need a taxi to pick you up upon your arrival? They will answer all your questions and organise everything, so that once on site, all you’re left to do is to enjoy yourself!
They will let you put together your personalised programme with Elodie and Yorrick because you will be able to better identify what you want to do once on site!
Elodie and Yorrick will be delighted to take care of you throughout your stay. This warm Belgian couple and their two adorable little boys will make you feel right at home and will ensure that you lack nothing!
You don’t have to keep checking your watch to ensure you pick up your kids at the end of their ski lessons! While skiing or discovering the beautiful scenery from your snowshoeing trail, you can entrust your kids to our enchanters! They will welcome them with a good snack on their return from skiing, then propose age-appropriate activities in line with their wishes to make them wait until you return, without you having to concern yourself about anything! And no need to worry, child care is available for kids from 1 month to 18 years of age!
The enchanters will receive your kids every day from 9:00 a.m. to 17:30 p.m., then facilitate night care from 20 h to 21 h to ensure you have dinner uninterrupted. During this time, the little ones under three can begin their night in their beds because a baby phone is available!
